Athen Closes $2M in Fund Commitments

Athen has secured $2M in committed capital for the fund that will invest in people through the Athen platform.

Capital should be able to flow to talent directly, not only through the wrapper of incorporation. The most interesting bets of the next decade will be on specific operators, researchers, founders, and athletes: the people doing the work, not just the entities they happen to sit inside. The infrastructure to make those bets at scale hasn't existed. We've been building it, and now we have capital ready to deploy through it.
